The United States uses 3D printing to significantly shorten the production cycle of blade mold

Sandia uses 3D printing technology to directly print the digital design scheme into a mold, shortening the time of more than one year. The figure shows the mold of a relatively small 13m blade. If it is used for larger scale industrial production, the designer can improve the anti risk ability of the technology through experimental design and accelerate the innovation of wind technology
